Welcome and Introductions – Tim Smith – Chair, STEM Challenge Initiative and Executive Director of Franklin Grand Isle Industrial Development Corporation

2018 Mary S. Babcock  Teacher of the Year Award – Presented to Julie Kittell, 8th Grade Science Teacher at Missisquoi Valley Union Middle/High School.  Ms. Kittell was nominated by one of her former students, Caylin Bessette, now a senior at MVU. Caylin said of Ms. Kittell, “I want to become an elementary school teacher just because she inspired me and showed me how much of a difference I could make in someone’s life.”
