SCI is an organization of community volunteers. The goal of our organization is to help our community by providing support to improve the educational opportunities for our children in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Our focus is to offer assistance to the school children in Franklin and Grand Isle counties of Vermont.  SCI is an acronym for STEM Challenge Initiative. We are challenging students, parents, business owners, community leaders and those interested in supporting our children’s education, to work together and with our organization to help foster STEM education.  Working together we can support programs that can enrich the learning experiences for students in our community.
Are you a teacher, school administrator or educator interested in improving STEM education at your organization? We may be able to assist.
SCI has started issuing grants to those who meet basic criteria for funding. See our grant application information.
